This position is one of the most dangerous for a giraffe. Since giraffes are so amazing, it's quite hard for them to be killed in the wild. This is one of the only vulnerable positions a giraffe can place his/herself in because his/her neck would be fully exposed and unprotected. A predator, namely lions, would be able to attack with less difficulty. Of course, the giraffe could always turn around, kick the lion's skull with his/her epic hooves (Note: a giraffe's hooves are literal killing machines!), and watch as they slowly (painfully!) die. #TeamGIRAFFE
